Robin McCammon appointed as new Talent Pathway iD Chair
Experienced sports industry and marketing specialist Robin McCammon has been appointed as the new Chair of Talent Pathway iD (TPiD).
Following on from McCammon’s days at Bangor University, Robin worked with players in the tennis industry and managed General Motors European sponsorships and partnerships before joining adidas and working his way up to be Director of Global Sports Marketing, managing the brand’s relationships with some of their key partners: FIFA, UEFA Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC. Robin transitioned to esports in 2019, taking on the position of chief commercial officer at Excel. Since departing earlier in 2021 Robin has been supporting organisations building strategies in various fields through his own venture Left Peg.
Robin commented: “I’m delighted to be taking on the role of Chairman. Sport and technology advances have been central to my life over the years and Talent Pathway iD is a unique application that takes the knowledge and understanding of athletes and sport to a whole new level. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and working closely with the founding members, guiding them through the next phase of the journey. I look forward to cementing TPiD’s position as one of the world’s leading performance platforms."
McCammon has extensive sporting knowledge and his wealth of experience will play a critical role in building Talent Pathway iD towards a globally recognized platform for sporting organisations to work with.
